Call for applications for the Research on Volunteering Conference

The “Research on Volunteering Conference: current trends, Interdisciplinary context, forming of a professional community and perspectives on international integration” will take place 29-30 May at the Higher School of Economics.

Researchers, experts and representatives from government agencies and the non-profit sector from Russia and abroad are invited to attend. The selection of speakers will take place on a competitive basis. Advantage will be given to speakers basing their results on field research. Speakers will also be accepted who give general overviews on the practices of volunteering.

The selection of speakers will take place based on applications which must be filled out and submitted in electronic form here by 27 April.

Speakers from CIS countries will receive partial financial support for the cost of flights and accommodation. Russian speakers may be offered accommodation in a hotel paid for by conference organisers.

All who plan to take part in the conference without presenting should fill out a preliminary registration form by 25 May here.

The conference is being conducted by the Centre for Studies of Civil Society and the Nonprofit Sector at the Higher School of Economics and the UN Volunteers programme.

The conference will take place at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow on ul. Myasnitskaya, d. 20.
