Since 1994, the Dutch government has used Matra to encourage social regeneration in countries throughout the region. In Russia the Matra Programme is coordinated by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Moscow and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in St.Petersburg. Dates to apply In 2010 three small grants contests are to be held among projects with the budget less than 1 100 000 rubles. Application deadlines: 1 May, 15 June (1 July for St. Petersburg) and 1 October, 2010. Middle and large grants contest is to be held among projects with the budget from 1 100 000 rubles up to 11 000 000 rubles. Application deadline: 21 May, 2010. Who can apply Russian organizations only are eligible to apply for a grant within the Matra Programme. Foreign organizations including Dutch ones cannot apply on their own, but can participate in projects of Russian organizations. How to apply 1. Small grants application form is provided in Russian. An organization can also add a form in English. An organization’s certificate of registration is an obligatory annex to the application. 2. Medium and large grants application should be submitted in English only. An organization’s certificate of registration and last year bank statement are obligatory annexes to the application. The application form is filled in in a printed form with a date of filling in, a signature and a stamp of an organization. Then, the application is sent in a single copy to the Embassy by registered post. One organization can submit only one application. Application processing An application is considered within three months after the application deadline. The Embassy or the Consulate General will inform an applicant on their decision in written. Average grant amount Small grants: below 1 100 000 rubles. Medium and large grants: from 1 100 000 to 11 000 000 rubles. |
