The Agency is situated in the centre of Novocherkassk. Office area is 200 sq.m. Administration of the Agency consists of 15 people - volunteers with higher education (lawyers, economists, programmers, psychologists and teachers). All of them have got a great experience in the matters of human rights protection. Members of the Agency are residents of Novocherkassk, the Rostov Region, both men and women, more than 1,300 people at the age from 18 to 84. The Agency collaborates with many non-governmantal protection organizations (NGO), namely: -18 from Novocherkassk, 41 from the Rostov region and 60 from other Russian regions, including Moscow, Orel, Voronezh, Saratov, Chelyabinsk and Irkutsk regions, Krasnodar, Stavropol and Altai territories as well as Adygeia and North Ossetia republics. Since 1998 collaboration with legal protection organizations, public figures, politicians, statesmen and religious workers from the USA, Swiss, Poland, Germany, France, Lithuania and Ukraine has been actively developing.

Representatives of the Agency regularly associate with the authorized person on human rights of RF O.Mironov, the Chairman of the Commission on Human Rights under President of RF V.Kartashkin and their collaborators, with deputies of State Duma, the Committee on Human Rights under Governor of the Rostov region as well as with many famous legal defenders, bodies of law and order and judical bodies.

On the basis of the Agency Don regional Center on Human Rights comprising committees on human rights, women's rights, and children's rights as well as charitable Children's Fund named after Denis, information center and the library of legal literature has been established. Public reception rooms for free legal advices and protection the rights of socially unprotected layers of population work. For two recent years more than 70 articles on legal protection have been published in mass media of the city, Rostov region, Russian Federation and abroad as well. Members of the Agency take an active part in preparing reports on human rights, publishing legal books for Russian educational institutions and leaflets on legal protection, develop and carry out projects on interaction between state structures, bodies of law and order and public organizations to prevent domestic violance. The Information Center develops and issues information bulletins about activities of the Agency, manifolds some Russian laws and international documents such as the General Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on Children's Rights to give them to youth and residents of the city free of charge.
