New Member Information

Welcome to membership of the BEARR website! We hope you will find it interesting and useful.

Please encourage other organisations and individuals engaged in cooperation with counterparts in Russia and Eurasia to join the site. The more Members we have, and the more they contribute, the better the site will be.

As a new Member, you might first like to enter your details on the Organisations Database. This can be done by selecting Create Content from the left, and then selecting  Organisation from the list of content. Or you can follow this link direct to the add new organisation page.

On browsing the site you will observe that it is very new. We are working to build up our Membership database and welcome any input Members can provide. Do you know of  resources, funding bodies or sources or items of information that are not already covered? Please send details to info@bearr.org. Do you have ready-made material which could be of use to other Members at home or in Russia or Eurasia? Please send anything that might be of interest to info@bearr.org.

The Noticeboard facility is there for you. Please make full use of it, and let us have your feedback or suggest new elements if you wish. Please see below if you require help using it.

Noticeboard Instructions

The Noticeboard is an interactive area where all members can exchange information and ideas. Everyone can view every topic, but only registered members can create new messages, or reply to existing messages.

At present there are 6 forum areas:

• Trustees wanted and available
• Staff wanted and available
• Volunteers wanted and available
• Experts wanted and available
• Q and A
• Discussion forum

The first 4 are designed to help members advertise and locate individuals to help their organisation. The Q and A forum is for messages containing questions on any subject relevant to The BEARR Trust's mission. The discussion forum is for all other messages. Within each forum, the message are collected together according to their subject in to topics, or threads.

In order to create a new message, you need to be logged in. When you are browsing the forum, you will see 'add new comment' links enabling you to reply to existing messages and "Post new message" links enabling you to create a new topic for discussion, ask a new question or advertise a position.
