Yandex.Kassa has produced an analysis of the audience of online charitable and crowdfunding platforms.

According to the data of the analysis from Yandex.Kassa and Data Insight, almost 11 million people in Russia (around 15% of internet users aged 14-54) transfer money online to charitable and crowdfunding projects with the help of specialised online platforms: Planeta.ru, Dobro Mail.Ru, Kickstarter, Boomstarter. According to the analysis, around 80% of users of these and similar platforms plan to continue to transfer money to interesting projects and charities.

Almost all of those who make transfers via charitable and crowdfunding platforms actively use the internet: to pay for goods and services via social networks, messengers, classifieds sites and services for joint purchases. Around 800 thousand people out of 11 million donors do not use online social channels to pay for goods and services.
